Illustrator & Artist

Welcome to my world

I have been a natural history educator/freelance scientific illustrator for over 30 years and began my career while studying for my M.S. in Forest Biology. My love for both science and art has prompted me to teach natural history and illustration at summer camps, nature centers and in local schools. Over the years I have produced scientific, wildlife and botanical illustrations for various educational institutions, government agencies and environmental consulting firms. Some of my favorite projects involved creating the content and artwork for multiple interpretive trail sign systems in Vermont. Other artistic endeavors include ceramic mosaics and cedar garden art.

I happily live in Vermont where I also operate a landscaping business. When the snow is on the ground I can be found on the ski slopes, leading snowshoe tours or sledding down Lincoln Gap.
